Connection
 between
Yoga
and
Tango:

Both
 yoga
 and
 tango
focus
 intensely
 on
 the
 mind‐body
 connection.
Consciousness
 of
 the
body
 and
 how
 it
 feels
 in
 different
 poses,

long
 with
 use
of
 the
 breath
 to
 deepen
and
perfect
poses
 is
fundamental
in
both
 practices.

Tango,
 like
yoga,
 focuses
on
 the
body’s
energies,

and
 on
aligning
 these
 with
 one’s
 partner’s.

The
deeper
awareness
 and
consciousness
of
the
body

and
 the
breath
that
 are
 fostered
 in
both
 tango
 and
 yoga

can
be
 drawn
upon
in
everyday
stressful situations
 to
maintain
a
 sense
of
inner
calm
 and
 groundedness.

Tango

The beginners' classes focus on fundamental aspects of the dance such as posture, breathing and the embrace. They incorporate some yoga techniques which encourage students to connect mind and body and to feel 'grounded' and relaxed.
Tango is a highly expressive and passionate dance, and once one has begun to understand and incorporate the basics, they can experience the great pleasure of connecting with their partner, the music, and of course, the wonderful social aspect of the dance.

Our Objectives

Our Objectives

Tango is a method of communication that is more profound than words; it has a language of its own. Our objectives are to celebrate and promote tango on an international level. We wish to remain true to its origins as a popular dance of the ordinary people, while at the same time exhibiting its artistic value.

Our first aim is to attract people to the dance floor, to those places that always represented moments that marked first dates, meetings with friends, the challenge, the fun, the loss, the smell and so many sensations that marked for us a time to which we have always wanted to return, the embrace, the approach and the communication, that emotion that we need so much.
We aim to innovate with a modern perspective and a deep academic content, imbuing the dance with excellence and prestige, without forgetting everything the tango shows in an embrace.

Classes

“A dance of closed and flexible embrace, with the same elegance and attitude the dance has always had,
incorporating the extensive variety of resources and elements of what is called tango nuevo without loosing the essence”, . The work concentrates on turns, sacadas, voleos, and volcadas.
The classes are organized with a pedagogical principle. They begin with individual technical exercises and then with a partner, building small structures that end up forming part of a long figure. The students, of all ages, learn, have fun, think and reflect on dancing and tango
